Edward Adam Brumley, 72, of Caruthersville, died Feb. 21, 1989 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital. Born April 28, 1916 in Stubtown, he was the son of John Pitts and Minnie Lee Dycus Brumley. He was a retired Brown Shoe Co. employee, a veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 88.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Margie Watkins of Caruthersville; Three nephews, Bill and Mike Watkins and Eddie Gene Brumley, all of Caruthersville; And one niece, Mrs. Janet Anita Goodale;
Services were Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. at Dean Funeral Home chapel in Caruthersville, the Rev. Jerry Statler officiating, with burial in Maple Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Alvin Dunavant, Verland Stubbs, Bill and Mike Watkins, Ed Harrison, Eldon Brown Jr. and Eddie Brumley.
