Mrs. Hattie Davis, age 59, passed away at her home on 12 Tillman street at 11:20 Wednesday night after a 3-weeks illness.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Obie Lee Bradburn, Mrs. Clarence Tucker, 2 sons, Otis and Leroy Davis, all of Union, five sisters, Mrs. Dollie Head of Rock Hill, Mrs. Cora Landrum and Mrs. Ruby Londeau of Gastonia, N.C., Mrs. Florence Allison of Asheville, N.C., Mrs. Daisy Roark of Union, one brother, Harry Cannon of Gastonia.
The funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon at Mon-Aetna Baptist Church at 2 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Luther Kright, the interment following in Rosemont Cemetery.
The body is at the home awaiting the hour of services. The arrangements are in charge of the Edgar Funeral Home.
