Aunt "Doll" was born in Buncombe County NC on June 2, 1892, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Tempie Connor Crawford.
She married W.J. Head and they made their home in Clover. She was a member of Roddey Baptist Church in Rock Hill.
At the time of her death she was survived by two sons;Bill and Aaron Head of Rock Hill. Four daugthers; Mrs. Sarah Harris, Mrs. Dessie Howell, both of Clover, Mrs. Louise Hyatt and Mrs. Martha Latimer, both of Rock Hill; 31 grandchildren and eight-great grandchildren. Two sisters, Cora Bessie Lanning and Ruby Casey of Enoree.
