Delva Lehrmann, 91, of Riesel, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011, in Waco. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 6, at Grace Lutheran Church in Mart with Pastor Eldor Harmann officiating. Burial will follow in Riesel Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at Bellmead Funeral Home.
Delva was born in Battle, Texas to the late George and Marie (Matthys) Behringer. She married Albert Tom Lehrmann on December 3, 1936, worked in retail sales for J. C. Penney and McCrory's Department Stores for many years.
Survivors include her husband of 74 years, Albert "Tom" Lehrmann; daughters, Lorraine Dosher and husband, John, of Waco, Corrine Schleider and husband, James, of Pearland, Lois Brauer, of California and Millie Lehrmann, of Riesel; son, David Lehrmann, of Riesel; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Fae Althage, of Waco; and numerous nieces and nephews.
