Mrs. Andrew Norris
Statesboro - Mrs. Marie Allen Norris, 54, of Andersonville died early Saturday morning after a short illness.
A native of Redfield, Ark., Mrs. Norris had lived in Sumter County for 14 years. She was a laboratory analyst for American Cyanamid Co. and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Americus.
Surviving are her husband, Andrew Sam Norris of Andersonville; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Joiner of Vienna and Mrs. Carol Osweiler of Highland Mills, N.Y.; a son, Larry Boatman of Miami, Fla.; a stepson, Gary Norris of Reynolds; four sisters, Mrs. James Ellis of Americus, Mrs. Helen Schrepel of Statesboro, Mrs. Mattie Belle Holzer of Schuylkill Haven, Pa., and Mrs. JoAnne Strozzo of Brooklet; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Reese Park Chapel in Americus. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro.
Barnes-Hodges Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge.
