Born Feb. 11, 1913, Utahn, Duchesne County, to Hirum Emanuel and Sena Olsen Kofford. Married Ruth Snow April 4, 1935, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Moved to Duchesne in 1961. Construction worker for Tiago Construction Co.
