Born March 12, 1939, to Cecil Leonard and Ruth Snow Kofford in Altamont
Utah. Married Delano Palmer, May 4, 1961 in Elko, Nevada. Member LDS Church. Active in Boy Scouts.
She was an inspiration to all who were around her. Through the years of her illness she made the best of each day by loving and supporting her family. She adored her grandchildren and they will always remember that. She spent many hours crocheting and has left a legacy of beautiful things for all of us. She will be well remembered and missed by those who knew her.
Survived by husband; three children and their spouses, Dena and Carey Palmer, Sonia and Darrell Palmer, all of West Jordan; Sandra and Brian Townley, Sandy; five grandchildren, Angela, Dustin, Stephanie, Jonathon, Ryan; mother; sister, Lawana and husband, Vaughn Jensen, Genoa; two brothers, Gerald and wife, Nancy Kofford , Dennis and wife, Linda Kofford , all of Mountain View, Wyoming; sister-in-law, Kathy Kofford , Las Vegas, Nevada. Preceded in death by father and brother, Cecil LaVern Kofford .
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12 noon, Midvalley 7th Ward, 1106 East 8055 South. Friends may call Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Wednesday at the church 10:30 a.m. til 12 noon. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
