Funeral services for Leland Cook, 99, of Princeton, were conducted on October 19, 2002, at Morgan's Funeral Home. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
Mr. Cook died on Oct. 17 at Princeton Health Care Manor in Princeton of a short illness.
Mr. Cook was born on October 14, 1903, in Stewart County, Tenn. He was the son of the late John James Cook and Arminnie Spiceland Cook.
Mr. Cook was a retired custodian at the Caldwell County School. He was a member of the Wallonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Mae Creamer Cook of Princeton; two sons and daughter-in laws, Wayman and Mary Cook of Princeton, and Harley and Shirley Cook of Princeton; one daughter and son-in-law, Nell and Harold Barnett of Lyon County; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
