Services for William Grover Angel, 68, of the Mashburn Branch Community, who died Friday were held Sunday at Mashburn Branch Baptist Church.
The Revs. Howard Willis, Mack Reed and Lester Evans officiated. Burial was in Sugarfork Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sammy, Carl and L.E. Angel, James Vanhook, Ricky and Randy Salter.
He was born in Macon County the son of the late Frank and Addie Sanders Angel, and was a retired builder.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Evelyn Early Angel; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Jennings of Franklin and Mrs. Madge Salter of Brevard; five sons, James Angel of Franklin, Kenneth Angel of Brevard, Earl Angel of Rock Hill, S.C., Don Angel of Camp Springs, Md., and Gene Angel of Venice, Fla.; a brother, Fred Angel of Franklin; three sisters, Mrs. John Gibson, Mrs. Lewis Gibson and Mrs. Jerry Griffin of Franklin; and 11 grandchildren.
Bryant Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
