AGED LADY PASSED TO BEYOND SUNDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. S. W. (Rebecca E. Clements) Browning, 90, were held at Browning Cemetery in Telfair County last Monday. Mrs. Browning recently celebrated her 90th birthday, when scores of relatives and friends were present. Mrs. Browning had lived a long and useful life. For the past few years she had been an invalid. She is survived by five children, Mrs. Raz Elkins, of Towns; Mrs. Christine Pope, of Towns; Neal Browning, Jesup; Watts Browning and Leonard Browning, Towns; one brother, Gabo Clements of Towns; one sister Mr. Mary Jane Nash, of Lumber City. Interment was in the Browning Cemetery in Telfair County. Rev. C. A. Morrison officiating.
