Son of Clement C. and Leonelly (Shaw) Clements. His name on the death certifcate is John Wesley Clements, but his name on other records is Wesley T. Clements. On several census records, he is listed as Westly Clements. That has added to the confusion between him and Westley Clements, who was seven years old in the 1850 census record of Jesse and Margaret (Smith) Clements of Emanuel County. There seems to be no later record of their son.
