REGRETS

Do not waste time reminiscring..
Sighing for the "good old days"
But, instead, be up and doing -
Make the most of each new day!

If your hopes and dreams are shattered,
If misfortune comes your way,
Do not wallow in self-pity,
Start anew this very day!

Do not cross tomorrow's bridges,
Don't regret your yesterday:
Live each day, and live it fully
Live and love, and work and pray!

Give the very best that's in you
To each thing you do or say:
If you'll let this be your motto,
You'll have no regrets today!
