Talbert Teke

Talbert H. Teke, of 609 Sheldon St., Lawrenceburg, died Monday, May 4, at Dearborn County Hospital. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at Zion United Church of Christ, Lawrenceburg, with burial in Greendale Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday with a 7 p.m. American Legion service and a 7:30 p.m. Veterans of Foreign Wars service. He Fitch-Denney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Edna; a daughter, Mrs. Karen Merkel, Lawrenceburg; two sons, David and Terry, both of Lawrenceburg; five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Simmons, Cincinnati, Mrs. Lida Vogel and Mrs. Agnes Scholle, both of Lawrenceburg, Mrs. Ruth Carpenter, Dillsboro, and Mrs. Dorothy Detmer, Rising Sun; a brother, George Teke, Batavia, Ohio, and four grandchildren.

Memorials are requested to the Zion United Church of Christ.
