Mrs. John Loutsch, well known to many Plymouth
county people, died suddenly on last Tuesday
evening from heart trouble at her home in Remsen.
Mrs. John (Susan) Loutsch was born on a farm
near Sherrill's Mound, Iowa on December 18,
1859 to Peter and Margarethe(Konzen) Hansen.
She was married to John Loutsch on November 23,
1880 in SS. Peter & Paul Church in Sherrill,
Iowa. Immediately after their marriage they
came to Plymouth county and settled on a farm
south of Remsen where they lived until they
retired in 1915.
Susanna is survived by her husband and the
following children:

3. Anna (William Conrad) 1887-1993
4. Margaret (John Ritz) 1889-1966
5. Dominic (Catherine Niehes) 1892-1972
6. Catherine (Nicholas Ruba) 1894-1989
7. John A.,Jr. (Clara Niehes) 1896-1948
8. Michael (Clara Pletschette) 1898-1975
9. Andrew J. (Mary Beelner) 1900-1961
10. Emil Nicholas (Rose Barbara Hunt)1901-1979
She also is survived by two brothers: Anton
(Mary Neises) and Clemens (Elizabeth Neises)
and two sisters: Catherine (Louis Sigworth)
and Mary Anna (Matt Loch), all of Balltown, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a
son; Andrew 1881-1898 of Diptheria.
The funeral will be held this morning at St. Mary's Catholic church in Remsen of which she was a devout
member.
