Military: Pension denied Judea until more proof is found since they couldn't find his military record. Private, under Capt. Joseph Canady, War with Creek Indians, War of 1812, West Tennessee Militiaman, commanded by Col. James Harrison, Volunteered 10 October 1814 Madison County, Tennessee, Mustered Out 10 March 1815 Ft. Deposit, Madison County, Tennessee,

Death date and location from military record. His brother in law, Thomas Brown swears to the date and location of death.

8 February 1799:Per Tennessee Governor John Sevier's Journal, Anderson Ashburn made the Governor a gift of a "Pepper Tree". Both father & son were named Dabney Anderson Ashburn and went by Anderson Ashburn, so at this time it's not known which of them gave the gift.
