METTER - Mrs. Louise Edenfield Bowen, 76, died Monday at Candler County Hospital.
The Candler Co. native and lifelong resident graduated as a music major from Brenau College and taught piano in Metter since that time. She was a member, the pianist and organist of the Metter Primitive Baptist Church for 52 years. She was recently honored by her church for her dedication.
Survivors: her husband, Elliott Bowen of Metter; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Tondra Bowen of Cartersville, Larry and Charlotte Bowen of Metter; a brother, Harold Edenfield if Ringgold; sisters, Margaret Broderick and Betty Fordham, both of Atlanta; and four grandchildren.
Visitation: 6:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Metter Primitive Baptist Church.
Burial: Mt. Olive Cemetery.
