Alfred L. Kindred, 91, of Paducah died Tuesday at his home.
Mr. Kindred was a retired supervisor for Bell South, lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Broadway United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou Burt Kindred of Paducah; two sons, Michael W. Kindred of Smithland and Frank Kindred of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Herbert W. Kindred of Paducah; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Jerome Kindred Sr. and Mary Robinson Kindred; one son, David Patrick Kindred; three brothers; and four sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Beal officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 today and after 8 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
