Mary Lou Kindred, 94, of Paducah, died Wednesday evening, November 2nd, 2016 at her home.
Mary was born on October 13th, 1922 in Mayfield, KY. to Ben and Ova Holmes Burt. She was a homemaker most of her life, and was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church of Paducah.
Mary is survived by her son, Frank Kindred of Paducah; brother in law, Benny Kent of Bedford, TX.; daughter in law, Sheri Kindred of Smithland, KY.; eight grandchildren, Patsy (Matt) Robinson, Shell (Bruce) Halverson, Duane (Kristie) Kindred, Justin Kindred, Shelly (Scott) Gray, Melissa (Brian) Lowrance, Jennifer (Wade) Robinson, and Jody (Charles) Watkins; seventeen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred L. Kindred; her parents; one sister, Jackie Kent; and two sons, Mickey and Pat Kindred.
Friends may visit the family on Saturday, November 5th, 2016 from 11am until 1pm at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah. Funeral services will start at 1pm on Saturday following visitation with Rev. Joe Beal officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethel Christian Church Cemetery on Woodville Rd. in West Paducah.
