A Mass of Christian Burial for Rose H. Mathias, 91, formerly of 807 West St., Carey, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Frenchtown, the Rev. Ron Schock officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. today at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey.

Mrs. Mathias died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Upper Sandusky.

Surviving are a son, Gerald of Alvada; two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Jean Ann) Hoepf, Carey; and Mrs. Harold J. (Virginia) Brickner, Carey; five sisters, Mary Loverich, Upper Sandusky; Isabelle Brodman, Carey; Dolores Mathias, New Riegel; Mrs. Norbert (Marcella) Molyet, Fremont; and Sister Donna Louise Brodman, Columbus; and three brothers, Leo Brodman, Napoleon; Herman Brodman, Carey; and Bernard Brodman, Bluffton Courier, The (Findlay, OH) - May 7, 2004
