Margarete Beard Neat, died Tuesday March 29, 2011 at the Liberty Care Center. She was 94.
Born in Adair County on November 15, 1916, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Melvina Neal Beard. She was a homemaker and member of the Dunnville Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Rollin Neat; son, Michael Neat; five brothers, Hearld, Homer, Claude, Robert and James Beard; and four sisters, Lora Jones, Irene Thomas, Madeline Tarter and Mary Wolford. Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Wilson of Dunnville and Karen Downey of Liberty; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 31 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Bro. Hershel Lawhorn. Burial is in Tabernacle Cemetery in Adair County. Visitation is Thursday 10:30 a.m. until funeral service. Pallbearers are Corey Dial, Troy Emerson, Jamie Black, Todd Wilson , Tommy Downey and Dale Wilson.
