Mr. Josh Edward Beard, 65 years of age, died Saturday, April 18th, at his home near Eunice following an illness of pneumonia.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vina Beard and the following children: Harold, Homer, Robert, Claud and James Beard, Mrs. Ray Thomas, Mrs. Nolan Jones, Mrs. Everett Tarter, Misses Mary and Margaret Beard.
He had a number of relatives in this city. He was a member of the Christian church.
Funeral services were held at Tabernacle Church Sunday morning at 10:00 o’clock conducted by Rev. L. C. Young, followed by burial in the church cemetery.
