"Mrs. Elva A. Edinger widow of the late Charles P. Edinger, whose death occurred Aug. 19, 1932, died at her home in Otisco Monday (March 13, 1938). She was a native of Cedarvale and was married to Mr. Edinger December 4, 1913. Early in life she united with the Methodist Church of Case, later transferring her membership to the Reformed Methodist Church of Otisco. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Sara Abbott of Otisco; a sister, Mrs. Rena Burt of Navarino; six brothers, Howard Abbott of Cortland, Frank Abbott of South Onondaga, Ethelbert Abbott of Cedarvale, and Clifford Abbott of Chittenango; three stepsons, B. J., and Karl Edinger of Otisco and Albert Edinger of Cortland; also a stepdaughter Mrs. Grace Bardwell of Preble. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Reformed Methodist Church of Otisco, Rv. Rolley Wilson officiating. Burial in Otisco."
