Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater, for Cecelia C. Forsthoefel, 83, State Route 118, Coldwater, who died Saturday afternoon at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Dayton. The Rev. Oscar Seger conducted the services, with internment in the church cemetery. Born May 18, 1896, in St. Sebastian, she was the daughter of Charles and Carolina (Will) Schwieterman. On January 11, 1921, she married William B. Forsthoefel, who preceded her in death April 29, 1950 . Surviving are six sons, Paul, Dayton; Ken, Louisville, Ky.; and Don, Herb, Tom, and Jim, all of Coldwater; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Muskus, Sidney, and Mrs. Ralph (Joan) Staugler, Coldwater; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Alvina) Bruns, Cranberry Prairie, and Mrs. Roman (Alma) Knapke, Dayton; one brother, Ray Schwieterman, Burkettsville; 44 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Two sisters, three brothers and two great grandchildren are deceased. Mrs. Forsthoefel was a member of Holy Trinity Church and its Rosary Altar Sodality. She was also a Knights of St. John Auxiliary member.
