Julius H. Swieterman, a retired branch manager for the National Cash Register Co., died yesterday afternoon at St. Joseph Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 78.
A resident of 320 Kingsway Drive, he was an NCR branch manager for about 21 years. He was the husband of Alvira Dorsten Swieterman and the son of the late Charles and Caroline Will Swieterman.
Besides his wife, three daughters, and three sons also survive.
The funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be made in Calvary Cemetery. Christian Wake services will be held at 7:30 p.m. at W.R. Milward Mortuary - Broadway. Visitation is from 3 to 5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
