Xavier Schwietermann died Tuesday, August 4, in his parent's home at the age of 12 years, 2 months and 9 days. The youth was sick for some time with enteritis and on the preceding Tuesday, an operation was performed on him by Dr. Robig with the assistance of two other medics from St. Marys, however, the young life could not be saved. Some hours after the operation, he breathed his last. Xavier was the second oldest son of Mr. Charles Schwietermann and his wife and left behind, along with his deeply grieving parents, 3 brothers, namely, Julius, Charles and Raymond as well as 5 sisters, namely, Cecilia, Regina, Alvina, Elisabeth and Alma to mourn his all too early death The funeral takes place Saturday morning at 9:00. May he rest in peace. The deceased was a brave youth. To the grieving parents our heartfelt condolences.
