1776: Anza Expedition

Francisco Javier Alviso y Trejo was the son of soldado Domingo Alviso y [?] and Maria Angela Trejo y [?]. He accompanied his parents to Alta California with Anza in 1776. He married María de los Reyes Duarte y (no surname)(SAP Baptism 00607) at the Monterey Presidio Chapel January 22, 1792 (SC Marriage 00434).* Francisco, a widower, was buried at the Monterey Presidio Cemetery (San Carlos) September 6, 1810 (SC Death 01921).

* She was the daughter of Salinan neophyte Gertrudis María (no surname) and soldado Alejo Antonio Duarte y Espinosa, and the twin sister of Manuela María.
