Henry G. Brown
CHAZY — Henry G. Brown; 90, of Chazy died Tuesday at the CVPH Medical Center.
He was born in Chazy Sept. 29,1888, the son of George and Rose (Abare) Brown.
He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
Mr. Brown was a janitor at Chazy Central Rural School for 34 years,retiring in 1954. He raised and sold vegetables Tor several years at his home on the Chazy Landing Road. He belonged to the Senior Citizens of Chazy.
He leaves his wife, the former Maude Robare of Chazy; two sons,Irvin Brown of Rouses Point and Norman Brown of Chazy; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Seymour of Ingraham; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Goodman of North Tonawanda,Mrs. Cora Jennette of Plattsburgh and Mrs. Emma Duprey of Chazy; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be tonight from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home Inc. in Plattsburgh.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Chazy.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
