Cora A. Jennette
PLATTSBURGH - Mrs. Cora A. Jennette, 85, formerly of Chazy, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1987, at the CVPH Medical Center.
She was .born in Chazy Aug. 18, 1902, the daughter of George and Rose (Abare) Brown. Mrs.
Jennette was the widow of Bert Jennette who died in 1972.
She was a member of St. Peter's Church and a former member of Sacred Heart Church,
Chazy; and a member of the Altar Rosary Society of Sacred Heart Church. She wa s a
member of the Schuyler Falls Senior Citizens and the Windy Towers Club.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Farro of Huntington, Long. Island; Mrs.
Robert (Louella) Holland of Plattsburgh and Mrs. Charles (Juanita) Baisley of Roswell,
Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Emma Duprey of Florida; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be this evening from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday
at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Chazy. interment will follow in the., family plot in
Sacred Heart Cemetery .
Members of the Rosary Altar Society of Sacred Heart Church are asked to meet Thursday at
7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
