Emma A. Duprey, 89, formerly of Lake Shore Rd., Chazy, died Saturday at Meadowbrook Nursing Home.

She was born the daughter of George and Rose (Abare) Brown. She married Leeward J. Duprey in 1924. Mr. Duprey died in 1970.

She is survived by two sons, Russell (Evelyn) Duprey and Armand (Bernice) Duprey; twin daughters, Mrs. Edward (Jane) Simmons of Carson, CA and Mrs. Donald (Janet) Dull of Granbury, TX; 20 grandchildren; 20 g-grandchildren.

A son, George H. Duprey, died in 1992.
