MRS. ABLER SERVICES AT YANKTON

Services for Marlene Abler, 41, of 904 Summit, Yankton, S.D., and formerly of Norfolk, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church at Yankton. The Rev. James Hawley will officiate and burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk.
The body will lie in state Wednesday, 3-9 p.m., at the Home for Funerals in Norfolk and from 10 a.m. until service time at the church in Yankton Thursday.

She was born May 18, 1935 at Hadar to Mr. and Mrs. Harlen Raabe and died Monday afternoon in a Norfolk Hospital. She was baptized June 2, 1935 at Hadar and confirmed March 21, 1941, in the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Hadar.

She married Robert Abler August 20, 1960, at Norfolk and they lived here until moving to Yankton 12 years ago. Mrs. Abler worked in the accounting department of the Yankton Medical Clinic.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Yankton, the Lydia Circle, and was on the flower committee, and belonged to the local Welcome Wagon group.

Survivors include her widower; one son, Todd, and one daughter, Tami, both at home; two brothers, Merlin Raabe of Hadar and Norman Raabe of Norfolk, and one sister, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Oleson of Norfolk.
