Milton B. Benson, 84, of Peoria passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Proctor Hospital.
Born July 28, 1926, in Hinsdale, Ill., the son of Charles and Stella Francisco Benson, he married Wilma N. Brewer on June 24, 1961, in Peoria. She died Nov. 2, 1988, in Peoria.
Surviving are one son, Larry Benson of Peoria; and one daughter, Lori (Douglas) Fouts of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Westlake.
Milton was employed as a machinist for Hyster for 23 years, and later retired from the assembly line at Caterpillar Inc. after six years.
He was an avid reader of Western novels and enjoyed target shooting.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
