Dorothy received her education at Oak Ridge School. She was a life-long resident of her beloved Oak Ridge Community. She was a homemaker & loved working in her yard, especially her rock garden.
Some of her other favorite pastimes were quilting, canning, going to garage sales w/Earl, listening to Bluegrass music, talking on the phone for hours, spending time w/her family, was lovingly known for “giving orders”.

Surviving are kids: Judy Creech, Jim w/wife Sharon & Loy Lyall w/wife Holly; brother Noble w/wife Kathleen; sisters Mildred Harris & Eunice Moreno w/husband Joe; s-in-l Alma Beeson; grkids: John Holman, Shelly Meltabarger w/husband Derek, James Lyall w/wife Barbara, Hayley Strickling w/husband Brian, Josh Lyall, Chris Stogdill & Chase Mattingly & 9 great grandchildren.
