Everett Beeson Dies Yesterday
Everett James Beeson, 76, a lifelong resident of Barry County and father of Mrs. Mildred Harris of Monett, died at 6:30 a.m. yesterday at the South Barry County Hospital in Cassville where he had been a patient since March 28.
Born June 13, 1899, in Cassville, he was a member of the Oak Ridge Methodist Church. A retired farmer, he married Mrs. Edna Noble Beeson March 2, 1919, in Pineville.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons, Noble Beeson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Leonard Beeson and Lawrence Beeson of Cassville; three daughters, Mrs. Harris of Monett, Mrs. Dorothy Lyall of Cassville and Mrs. Eunice Mereno of Salisbury, Md.; one brother, Estill Beeson of Cassville; 31 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Culver Chapel in Cassville with Rev. Fred Cunningham and Rov Couch officiating.
Burial will be in the Ennis Cemetery under the direction of Culver Funeral Home.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
