Eunice was born and raised in Cassville, Missouri, on December 1, 1933, to the late James Everett and Edna (Noble) Beeson. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Joseph Moreno on December 31, 1955; he preceded her in death on January 19, 2017.
Eunice retired from the Wicomico County Board of Education in 1999. She also previously worked as a carrier for the Daily Times, and Hutch’s Market. In her spare-time she loved family gatherings, working on jig-saw puzzles, and walking around her Johnson’s Lake neighborhood with her long time neighbor and friend Bessie Jenkins Cutler. She also liked doing crossword puzzles and working in the yard.
Eunice was an active member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she devoted many hours of volunteer work in the Carriage House. Both Joe and Eunice were recognized by the church when they received the Annual Merit Award for their volunteer work in 2012.
Besides her parents and husband Joe, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mildred Harris and Dorothy Lyall; brothers Noble, Leonard, and Laurance Beeson; and son-in-law Milton Maull, plus sibling-cousins Margret Saviano & Glenn Beeson.
Eunice is survived by her eight children and their families; Phillip Moreno; Richard and Vicki Moreno and their children Melanie Baraby (Matt), and Darren; Lisa and Gary Townsend and their son Colby; Jackie Maull; Kathy and Ted Hobbs and their daughters Karly Cross (Eric), Maggie, and Abbey; David and Stephanie Moreno and their daughters, Claire and Eva; Terry and Kim Moreno and their children Ryan (Kelsey), Lauren Glasgow (Forrest), and Kelli; and Mary and Mike Muninger and their children, Ashlee Wilson (Sarah), Garrett, and Gabrielle.
Eunice is also survived by five great-grandchildren (Jackson, James, Landon, A.J., and Aiden), sister in-law Alma Beeson, sibling-cousins Darlene Hastings, Delores Ballard, and Milton (Dutch) Beeson, plus many loving nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 12 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury, Md. Burial will follow at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Francis de Sales, 514 Camden Ave, Salisbury, MD 21801 or to Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21803.
