Born August 30, 1920, Provo, Utah, to Edward James and Jessie Souter Duckett. Married Irene Wiseman March 27, 1939, Farmington, Utah; later solemnized, Salt Lake Temple.

Survivors: Wife, Provo; four sons, two daughters, John Edward Duckett, Salt Lake City; Jeanne Robison, Irvine, Calif.; Dean W. Duckett, South Mountain, Idaho; David J. Duckett, Provo; Mrs. James (Becky) Pheysey, Orem; James G. Duckett, Phoenix, Arizona; 24 grandchildren; three sisters, Ethel Kilgore, Mrs. Max (Irene) Roberts, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Rex (Beverly) Dunford, Provo; preceded in death by a brother, Arthur L. Duckett.

Funeral services Monday, 11 a.m., Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center. Friends may call on Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment, East Lawn Memorial Hills, Provo. Full Military Rites will be accorded by VFW District #4. Family suggests contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
