Worth County Index, Northwood, IA, Thursday, 3 April 1890
Supervisor Theron Finch, of Kensett, after many weeks of intense suffering, passed to his final rest Sunday morning. He was a man of strong convictions, one who loved and tenderly cared for his family and was absolutely loyal to his home, his party and his friends. He was buried Tues., his funeral service being the beautiful ritual of the Masonic order, conducted by his bretheren of Northern Light lodge, of which he was the first master, and a most worthy member. His family and friends have universal sympathy in their great bereavement.
