Obituary
Theron Finch, Jr. was born in Kensett, Iowa December 12 1889; died July 15, 1911, aged 21 years, 7 months, 3 days.
Theron was the youngest son of Theron and Ettie Finch. His father died when he was three months old, after which he was his mother's chief thought and care until her death which occurred when he was 17 years of age. The fall succeeding his mother's death he accompanied his brother Fred and sister Winnie to San Francisco, Cal. He had already spent two year at the Nora Springs Seminary; and at the time that his health failed he was completing a course in electrical and mechanical engineering at the Vander Nailen School of Engineering in Oakland, Cal. He removed with his sister Winnie in October to Colorado where he passed away on the 15th of this month.
He leaves to mourn his departure two sisters and three brothers; Mr. Bret T. Finch of Kensett, Mrs. N. E. Haugen of Des Moines, Mr. Fred F. Finch of San Francisco, Miss Winnie Finch of Delta, Colorado, and Mr. Max Finch of Twisp, Washington; besides a large number of other relatives and friends.
He was a young man of good habits and fine character and unusually cheerful disposition, and a good student. May the God of all comfort and grace sustain those who mourn in this time of bereavement.
