Obituary: Hiram Gould, an old and respected citizen of this city, after a week's illness, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Nettie Jones, 7839 Union Avenue, Auburn Park, Sept. 7, 1904. He had been a resident of Chicago and vicinity 59 years. He emigrated with his father to this state in 1845. He leaves one son, George Gould of this city and...............of Chicago, to mourn the loss of a loving and devoted father. He died at the age of 76 years 9 months being the oldest of twelve children. The services were held at the old home in this city Sunday, Sept. 11, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Wesley Cemetery.
