BAXTER Funeral services for Arb C. Roberts, 71, of Baxter will be held Wednesday, October 13, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Smellage Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts was dead on arrival at Cookeville General Hospital on Monday, October 11, 1993.
Son of the late William Daily and Pearl Donna Kinniard Roberts, he was born September 11, 1922, in Silver Point.
His family includes one daughter and soninlaw, Shirley and Jerry Kirby of Cookeville; two brothers, Harvey and Herbert Roberts, both of Silver Point; four sisters, Reubena Carr of Cleveland, Ira Bussell of Baxter, Winnie Palmer of Cookeville and Reba Abney of Warren, Michigan; three grandchildren, Terry, Eugene and Jeremy Kirby, and three greatgrandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Eugene and Clavis Kinniard, and one sister, Carrie E. Boyd.
