BAXTER — Funeral services for Harvey Winfield Roberts, 86, of Silver Point, will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, from the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Smellage Cemetery in Boma.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. today, Sunday, Nov. 4, and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
Harvey passed away on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville.
He was born Oct. 16, 1926, in Putnam County to the late Daily and Pearl Kinnard Roberts.
Harvey was devoted to his family and loved working in his garden. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Clavis, Eugene, Abe and Herbert; and five sisters, Carrie Boyd, Reubena Carr, Iria Bussell, Winnie Palmer and Reba Abney.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society, due to Harvey's love for animals.
Bro. Fred Hawkins will officiate at the services.
