KENTWOOD, MICHIGAN – Funeral services for Carrie Roberts Boyd, 76, of Kentwood, Michigan will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Baxter Funeral Home with Bro. Carlos Herren officiating. Burial will be at Smellage Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd died Wednesday 23 October 1985 at her home in Kentwood.
Born October 21, 1909 in Putnam County, she was a native of the Boma Community. Her parents were the late William Dailey and Pearl Kinniard Roberts. She was married to the late Owen Boyd.
Mrs. Boyd was a homemaker. Her family includes a daughter, Patricia Holton of Kentwood; 4 sisters, Winnie Palmer and Ira Bussell, both of Baxter; Reubena Carr of Cleveland, TN and Reba Abney of Warren, MI and 4 brothers, Clavis, Harvey and Herbert Roberts all of Silver Point and Abe Roberts of
Baxter.
