CLAUDE - Lena Mae Boles Patterson, 93, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in United Methodist Church in Claude with the Rev. Janet Edwards, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Claude Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Lena was born April 24, 1917, in Fannin County to James Larkin Boles and Nannie Margaret Dyer Boles. She attended school at McCraw Chapel and in Windom, Fannin County.

She married Clarence James Patterson on Aug. 11, 1938, in Bonham. She has been a resident of Claude since 1938, where they raised their son, Ronald, and was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Lakeview Quilting club.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Canyon Health Care for their love and care for Lena for the past six years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence James Patterson; her parents, James Lankin Boles and Nannie Margaret Boles; two brothers, Jesse Weldon Boles and James Newton Boles; and four sisters, Edna Holland, Kittie Metcalf, Lydia Sisco and Ruth Watson.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Patterson of Claude; two granddaughters, Tracy Schott and husband Clay of Canyon and Kim Keys and Stevan of Panhandle; two great-granddaughters, Cheyann Schott of Canyon and Lynzee Keys of Panhandle; three great-grandsons, Cole Schott of Canyon, and Spencer Keys and Colt Keys, both of Panhandle; two brothers, James Lankin Boles Jr. of Greenville and Herman Ray Boles of Duncanville; and numerous grandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be at Schooler Armstrong Chapel in Claude.

The family will be at 306 Pratt St. in Claude.
