NANNIE MARGARET BOLES
Nannie died February 5, 1977 at Fannin County Hospital, Bonham. She had been ill for several years and in the hospital about 24 hours.

Nannie was born July 26, 1892 in Tennessee to the late Robert Newton Dyer and Mary Freels Dyer. She was married September 26, 1909 at McCraws Chapel to James Larkin Boles who preceded her in death May 2, 1971. She was a member of the McKenzie United Methodist Church at Honey Grove.

Funeral services were held at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel February 7th, with the Rev. H. V. Carraway and the Rev Bob Lee officiating. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery, Honey Grove.

Survivors include three sons, James Newton Boles of Oklahoma City, Okla., J. L. Boles Jr. of Greenville and Herman Ray Boles of Ducanville; five daughters, Mrs. Edna Holland of Denison, Mrs. Kittie Metcalf of Brownfield, Mrs. Lydia Sisco of Honey Grove, Mrs. Lena Mae Patterson of Claude and Mrs. Ruth Watson of Sherman; two brothers, Elmer Dyer and Willie Dyer both of Honey Grove, twenty-five grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren. One son, Jessie Weldon Boles, preceded her in death in 1925.

Pallbearers, were grandsons, Ronald Patterson, Randall Watson, Bobby Boles, Charles Bateman, Eddie Boles and Lanny Collins.
