HEINRICH "HENRY" WEINMEISTER, Sr. 1880-1935
Henry Weinmeister Died November 23 At Home In Windsor----Henry Weinmeister passed away peacefully Saturday morning, Nov. 23, [1935] at 10 o'clock, having attained the age of almost 55 years. Cancer of the stomach was the cause of death. He did not suffer much pain, but his strength began to fail him in January. A week ago he returned from Dr. Gasser's Hospital at Loveland, where he had taken special treatments for 12 days in the hope of obtaining relief. He was born December 17, 1880, at Dittel [Dietel]. Russia, where he was christened, confirmed, and later on united in marriage with Elizabeth Lochmann [Lackmann]. To this union nine children were born, four of whom preceded their father in death. In 1906 the Weinmeister family immigrated to the United States, and since then have made their home at Windsor. In 1918 his wife died, and the following year he was married to Mrs. Maria Brunner. To this union three children were born.
Mr. Weinmeister is survived by his wife, eight children, four step-children, three brothers, two sisters, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Rev. Henry Baumgaertel officiating. Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery, Windsor.
