FINCASTLE - Rufus D. Zimmerman, 80, died at his home near here Thrusday. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Annie Zimmerman, three daughters, Mrs. James Greathouse, Suitland, Md., Mrs. Larry Lane, Topeka, Kan.,Mrs. Gilbert Perkins, Middebrook, Md.; two sons, John D. Zimmerman, Hyattsville, Md., Sherman Zimmerman, Washington, D.C.; five sisters, Mrs. Lula Dobbyns, Mrs. Bessie Coleman, Lynchburg, Mrs. Carrie Harris, Mrs. Gracie Fizer, Mrs. Hollie Overstreet, Bedford; three brothers, Sidney Zimmerman, Roanoke, Jennings Zimmerman, Bedford, Hubert Zimmerman, Lynchburg. Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Eagle Rock Funeral Chapel, with burial in the Godwin Cemetery,Fincastle.
