His age at death is given on his death return as 76y 10m 13d, which would translate in to a birth date of May 14, 1829, which is also a slightly different than the birth date of May 3, 1829 given on the stone, and an entire year off of the birth date of May 5, 1830 listed in Shelburne Vital Records p72. In addition, his parents' marriage is listed as June 29, 1829 in Shelburne Vital Records, which would point to 1830 as being the true birth year. But also in the vital records is the death of of a one-day old unnamed child of Alfred and Almina...in May 1830.
