Nellie Wells
GAFFNEY—Nellie Hill Wells, 76, of 421 Pacolet Highway, died Dec. 23, 1993, at her home.
A native of Cherokee County, she was the widow of Clyde Thomas Wells and daughter of the late William and Zora Hill Brown. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Gaffney and was a retired textile worker.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha Dixon of Gaffney; one son, Robbie Wells of Gaffney; one brother, Jay Hill of Greer; five grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Martha Dixon, 11 Ridgeway Road, Gaffney.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home.
