Fred B. Marsh, 80, of Oil City RD was dead on arrival at Oil City Hospital at 1:20 pm Tuesday.
Born June 17, 1895 at Coal Hill, he was the son of the late Simon P. and Henrietta Disque Marsh.
He had lived at that address all his life. Mr. Marsh was self-employed lumberman, who retired in 1970. He was married on December 22, 1917 to the former Grace Viola Blauser, who died October 18, 1972.
Mr. Marsh is survived by six children, Austin L. Marsh of Venus, ****, Gerald E. Marsh of Diamond RD, Mrs. Doris Schreffler of Fair Oaks, Calif., Donald L. Marsh of Venus RD and ****. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A son Floyd E. Marsh died in December 1967.
Friends wil be received at the Hutchinson and Morton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm today and from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday at the funeral home, with Rev. W. Dale Rhome, pastor of the Coal Hill Free Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Craig Hill Cemetery.
