Gertrude Jeffery was the daughter of Jehoiada Jeffery. She married Owen H. Dixon after the death of his first wife, Anna May Jeffery-Dixon, her cousin. Gertrude and Owen were married December 25, 1902, six years after Anna died. Gertrude became mother to Ruth and Ray, her cousins. Born to Owen and Gertrude, were Juanita in 1905, Guy 1909, and Lola 1910. Gertrude died giving birth to her last child and they are buried together. Owen married a third time to Ruth Quinn and they moved to Grant's Pass, OR. Gertrude's daughter Juanita died three weeks short her 15th birthday seven years after her mother died. May they rest in peace forever in the arms of God.
