Mrs. Rose Emily Berrett Crandall, 81, died just after midnight today at the home of a son, Myron R. Crandall, 2036 Madison, of causes incident to age. Mrs. Crandall was born Nov 18, 1864 in North Ogden, a daughter of Richard T. and Mary Ann Nunns Berrett. She started teaching school in the ____ district shortly before her seventeenth birthday. She was married to William H. Crandall, Dec 14, 1882 in The L.D.S. Salt Lake City Endowment house. She made her home in North Ogden where she was president of the Primary association and later in Pleasant View, she was active in Relief Society working; also in the L.D.S. Ogden Second ward.
She spent much of her time in the past few years doing temple work in Salt Lake city. Mr. Crandall died in 1910.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters; Myron R. Crandall, Ogden; Lawrence Crandall, president of the L.D.S. San Diego stake, San Diego, Calif.; Leo H. Crandall, Oakland, Calif.; Albert B. Crandall, Tracy, Calif.; Glen Ivan Crandall, salt Lake City; Mrs. W. D. Walton, Liethbridge, Canada; Mrs. Anthony Russell, Ogden; also 34 grandchildren, 14 great - grandchildren and four brothers and three sisters: Richard E. Berrett, Ogden, Thomas Berrett and Mrs. J.Q. Blaylock; North Ogden; Orson Berrett, Roy; Earl Berrett, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Robert Irwin, Idaho Falls, Ida.; and Mrs. George Lyons, Logan.
